Target Group
The Doctoral students at HIRST are recruited from all over the world.
It is our aim to provide admission to PhD students who are passionate for research in electronics, optic & photonics and micro- and nanotechnology.
Research activities at the Helmholtz International Research School for Teratronics are highly interdisciplinary, combining knowledge of natural as well as engineering sciences. Doctoral students at HIRST profit from expertise of leading researchers in different disciplines.
Graduates with an excellent Master’s degree or diploma in natural or engineering sciences are welcome to apply, e.g.
